Traffic Operation - 11/03/26

As your new local Neighbourhood Officer for Highfield, Farnworth, I want to reassure residents that I am fully aware of the concerns raised about the way some vehicles are being driven in the area. In response, I carried out a targeted traffic operation yesterday with support from the Specialist Operations Unit and fellow neighbourhood officers.

Our aim was to address driving offences, engage with motorists, and ensure road safety remains a priority for everyone who lives and travels in the community. The operation led to several positive outcomes, and we will continue to take proactive steps to keep Highfield’s roads safe and to respond to the issues that matter most to you.
